Autism
The word 'autism', which has been in use for about 100 years, comes from the Greek word 'autos', meaning 'self'. The term describes conditions in which a person is removed from social interaction -- hence, an isolated self.
Triage
The definition of triage is a medical process where patients are sorted according to their need for care and the likely benefit that care will provide in order to determine what order in which to treat them.
